I saw this on tv awhile back but don't know where to find one. It's a small flat tool that spaces your deck boards but it also has pre-drill holes built in. Anyone know of this?

Don’t know anything about this specific tool, but deck builders have been using simple things (like nails) to act as a spacer between boards for years.

Drive the tip in against one board and push the next board up against it. Use the same nail for the whole deck and your boards are consistently spaced. Want a bigger space? Grab a bigger nail.

Could also use a thin piece of scrap wood.
