Hi Zach,
could you please tell me why it is better to travel from bucharest to sofia and following to varna instead of directly travelling from bucharest to varna by train?
Did you enjoy bulgaria?

Hi Manuela,
I would recommend if possible stopping in Sofia and doing some exploring if you have the time. This is one of the oldest cities in Europe after all, and the country's largest metropolis. The architecture alone is worth a visit, but I also recommend the National Art Gallery if you're into that kind of cultural attraction.
Haven't been to Bulgaria for many years, but have great memories of my brief time there!

Hi there
When I fly to Bucharest I usually take a taxi to Ruse. The taxi drivers are very flexible with regards to unsociable hours and waiting for you to get your luggage. It costs 60 euros. From Ruse you can easily get a bus to Varna and it isn't expensive. This is the phone number of the bus station in Ruse 082 / 22 67 57.
