Hey eHow Peeps,

I know you've probably seen the "Subscribe" button on the forums (it's at the upper-right hand corner of any topic post you're viewing). So, you're probably wondering what the "Subscribe" button does. Well, it helps you keep track of any updates made to the forum post. Say that you've created a topic and then someone actually replies to that topic, you'll get a notification saying that someone has replied to that topic. You can also use the "Subscribe" button to keep track of any forum posts you're interested in (you don't necessarily have to be the one who created the forum post). It's a pretty handy feature, and you don't need to keep checking back to see if there are new updates to a post. Use it well . Thanks.

This is really cool, and I did wonder what that subscribe button meant, thanks. eHow Peeps! That is funny, I like being an eHow Peep.

Hey Richard..

Just an idea...Has Ehow ever thought about having a subscribe to writers here at Ehow? Or do we already have something like that? We have friends and stuff--But it doesn't let us know when somebody publishes an article..Is that something that might be seen in the future for Ehow? Just curious ...

Thanks

Thanks for chiming in Writergig In the future, we may have a button that calls out more to visitors that it's a subscribe button. Thanks for all the suggestions

I'm not receiving any type of notifications to my subscribed threads. Should these be coming via email?

You should get them via e-mail as well as your message inbox on eHow. Have you checked your SPAM folder? Thanks.

I received an email this morning with a list of links to all the forums I am subscribed to. Do these notifications only come once per day?

I have the same problem with subscriptions, I'm not receiving any of them and they are not in my SPAM or junk folders, either. And just now when I tried to respond to this post, I was bounced back to the sign-in page to start all over again! I had signed on earlier and checked the box to stay signed on to this website all day.

I've waited a few weeks now and of course, checked my junk folders, all to no avail. Still no subscription notices on any of the 3-5 ones I've subscribed to??????

Mine used to work, but unexpectedly quit working about a month ago.
