    Sunday morning services provide parishioners with the opportunity to commune with God. The worship leader has a mammoth task of trying to lead people with different needs and circumstances into the presence of the Lord.   • Medieval Blacksmith Tools

    The Middle Ages, or Medieval times, spanned the years 1066 to 1485. In Europe, this was a time of feudalism, knight errantry, the Crusades and dominion of everyday life by church doctrines. Metal-working was a basic occupation, subdivided by the kind of metal worked: goldsmiths, silversmiths and blacksmiths. Blacksmithing, or working with iron, was essential because of the reliance on metal weaponry, horseshoes and armor, as well as the need for everyday items such as pots and household tools.
