Car Stops Poorly

The Ford Motor Company's response to the 1970's fuel shortages was to produce underpowered cars with pedestrian styling. This didn't stop Ford from riding the coattails of the 1960's muscle era by producing poorly conceived, weak Mustang "Cobras" and "GT350s." However, it wasn't until the 2003 and 2004 model-years that Ford produced a new muscle car in the form of the Mustang Mach 1. The 2004 Mach 1 helped bring back the 2007 and later beefy Mustangs.
