Located in Fort Worth, Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) is home to a variety of racing events. In addition to hosting the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, TMS also welcomes open-wheel racing fans as the IndyCar Series runs dual night races under the lights. Located approximately an hour and a half east of Dallas, Texas, Lake Fork is host to numerous fishing tournaments. Not only can you camp at this latter attraction, you can ride historic trains there. Rusk has two family campgrounds, offering tent and RV camping, and more family camping is available farther out in Jacksonville.
Offering more than 20 miles of trails, Lake Somerville, Texas, provides the outdoor enthusiast a wide variety of outdoor recreational activities.
