Federal Reserve Notes are banknotes printed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and are the only banknotes authorized as legal tender in the United States. Uncirculated banknotes are banknotes that are "fresh off the press" and have not been used yet. Uncirculated banknotes are cleaner, crisper, and typically of the newest design. Uncirculated Federal Reserve Notes can be purchased at nearly any bank with little or no advanced warning.
