Paint those paper cones to look just like candy corns! Paint a ring of yellow on the widest part of the cone, followed by a ring of orange above it. Repeat for each cone. The width of each color on the candy corn cones is up to you!

Once the cones have dried, use scissors to snip off the very tip of each cone.

Now it's time to attach each cone to each light. Slip the tip of the cone onto a light and cut a small piece of white electric tape. Stick the electric tape to the paper tip of the cone and the plastic attached to the twinkle light.

Wrap the electric tape completely around the cone and twinkle light so it is snuggly in place.

I love this idea!! Perfect decorations for our Halloween porch party. Our neighbors on both sides don't have children so we have grown-up snacks and beverages while someone is the "designated candy person". The other neighborhood parents look forward to it, too! Thanks for the great idea for decorations!
