An easy way to form your napkin ring is to use an empty toilet paper roll. First you want to cut your roll in half. Using a ruler, measure out two equal sides and mark with a pencil. Follow your marks with a piece of masking tape so you have a nice edge to cut against. I used a utility knife but you can also use scissors to cut in half.

Cut 1" strips out of orange tissue paper. You'll need about 5 strips to cover your roll. Twist each one from top to bottom.

Now it's time to print out the image. I used this e-how's Fall leaves template. Click the following link to download and print the fall leaves template: http://v5-static.ehowcdn.com/media/docs/holiday/thanksgiving/fall_leaves.pdf. You'll need to re-size it as they print really large. I scaled mine down so each leaf was about 2" tall. If you can print on thick paper or card stock, it will make your napkin ring more sturdy.
5.
Cut out the leaves you want to use from the template. Cover the backside with glue and secure to the yellow card stock. Once it's dry, cut each one out leaving a small yellow edge.
Create a Fall themed Napkin Ring for the holiday season. It's a great project for kids using paper crafts from around the house.
