Open up the 1/4 yard of fabric and measure it lengthwise. Each strip should be one inch.

When I finished braiding. I knotted the end, but didn't pull it too tight. I shimmied smaller rings down the braid for decoration.

After I added the rings, I untied the end and re-tied a larger jewelry ring on the bracelet. I looped it through the other ring to create a clasp.

I tried to space the beads out evenly. Once you tie on a bead, try to braid with the same tightness in order to keep the colors even all down the bracelet.
