The bladder comprises one part of your urinary system. From stress incontinence to cancer, a number of problems may occur and while it may be difficult or embarrassing to speak with your doctor concerning some of these issues, it is important to do so.
Urinary disorders can be painful, cause discomfort and severely affect one's quality of life. Many urinary disorders are marked by the inability to hold urine, which can make one's life extremely difficult.
The bladder is a balloon-shaped, muscular organ that is located in your pelvic region. Urine is filtered into your bladder via two ureters that are attached to the kidneys. Urine is then held inside of your bladder until it is released through the urethra and on its way out of your body. When this delicate balance is disrupted, an array of symptoms can occur that vary according to the bladder disorder.
