  • Florida Laws for Condominium Covenants

The Condominium Act, Chapter 718 provides the rules for the creation of condominiums in Florida and those governing condominium covenants, conditions and restrictions (CC&Rs). CC&Rs refer to the documents that outline how the association functions and the rules all owners, tenants and guests must follow as well as their rights. CC&Rs also govern rules for the powers allocated to officers and directors and the limitations of those powers.

  • Florida Condominium Laws on Bingo

Every state has its own laws in regard to what forms of gambling are legal, and what forms are illegal. In Florida, the game of chance known as bingo is legal to play within a condominium complex as long as certain rules and regulations are followed. The Florida bingo laws dictate how often the game can be played and how much of a jackpot may be awarded to the winners.

  • Florida Charity Bingo Laws

Florida law governs gambling in the state, including any gambling used for charitable purposes. While, in general, bingo and other forms of gambling are prohibited under Florida law, some organizations can use bingo games to raise money. These games are subject to regulation and restrictions under various gambling laws.
