  • How to Keep Kids in a Dugout Interested

Nothing quenches the desire to succeed at a sport more than spending the entire game sitting in a hot dugout. While dugout time is a necessary part of any softball or baseball game, it's important to remember that even the most involved players can grow tired or weary of sitting around. Fortunately, there are a variety of ways you can inspire your players not only to pay attention, but to actually get more interested in and excited about the game at hand.

  • Baseball Dugout Safety

Baseball players need somewhere to go during a game when they're not on the field. The dugout is that solution. Depending on the level of play, a dugout could be slightly below field level or just be a fenced-off area.

  • Baseball Fencing Safety

A baseball fence is the end of play on a baseball field. Hitters try to slam balls over the fence while outfielders often back up to try to make a catch. Proper safety measures need to be taken or an injury could happen.
