Each season of "American Idol" culminates with a finale show, in which the top two finalists compete to win the competition. If you'd like to attend the finale, you cannot purchase tickets. Instead, tickets are given out for free on a first-come, first-served basis to fans who are signed up on the ticket waiting list. As of 2011, the waiting list sign-up form was only available online.
