    Some people never realize they are experiencing symptoms related to diabetes. They may feel thirsty often and blame it on heat or exertion. They may have headaches and blame it on stress. Symptoms for diabetes are many. If you have a history of diabetes in your family, beware of the warning signs. See your health care provider and begin a plan to protect against later complications.

  • Early Symptoms of Adult Onset Diabetes

    Adult Onset Diabetes can drastically alter an individual's quality of life. If pre-diabetes is not detected through blood sugar tests, other symptoms may set in that may interrupt someone's life either slightly or severely. Regardless of the level of impact, however, anyone experiencing these symptoms should see their doctor in the hopes of catching, and possibly reversing, Adult Onset Diabetes or prevent the advancement of any other condition that may be causing these symptoms.

    Adult-onset diabetes is also called "type-2 diabetes," which occurs when the body's cells resist the insulin the body produces. This is a condition sometimes called "insulin resistance."
