How to Link to eHow

At eHow we love sharing knowledge! As such, we encourage all users, members, webmasters and bloggers to link to any eHow page in any fashion they like. In fact, we'd be delighted if you’d link to us!

You can link to eHow using any linking technique you’d like, but to make your job easier, we offer the following helpful hints on ways to link to our site:

1. Add a Text Link to the eHow Homepage

   The easiest solution is adding a basic text link to the eHow homepage. To add eHow to your blog or website, use the following HTML:

   To add eHow – How to do just about everything to your blog or website, use:

2. Link Directly to the eHow Page or Pages that Interest You Most

   When linking to an eHow article, we recommend that you name the link with the title of the eHow article. So the link might go to http://www.ehow.com/how_2970_tie-tie.html but the user would see How to Tie a Tie. The HTML for this would look like:

   <a href='http://www.ehow.com/how_2970_tie-tie.html' target='_blank'>How to Tie a Tie</a>

   If you're an eHow member, share your eHow article with your friends and family when you link directly to your eHow Profile from your own website, blog, MySpace profile, or other online presence. For example, eHow Expert Audie Metcalf would use the following HTML to link to her profile:

   <a href='http://www.ehow.com/members/audiebird.html' target='_blank'>eHow Expert Audie Metcalf</a>

3. Use our Logo to Link to the eHow Homepage

   

   Use this technique by pasting this HTML into your page:

Warnings:

• Please do not plagiarize or republish eHow content on your own site. While we encourage links to eHow, we can not allow you to publish our content on your servers without permission. To learn more about getting this permission see - How to Republish eHow Content.
• Use frames sparingly. While we allow webmasters to frame our content on their site, you should recognize that this technique can be confusing to your users. If you decide to use frames please note that the eHow content must come from a link to our servers, not republished onto your site.
