Eyebrow & Eyelash Growth
Your eyebrows and eyelashes are important features of your face. If you've plucked too much from your eyebrows or want to change your look, consider the growth rate of your brows. If you've accidentally plucked an eyelash or have noticed a few that have fallen out, rest assured that eyelashes will grow back within a few weeks. Does this Spark an idea?

Hair Growth
-
The hair on your body has a specific growth cycle, which varies according to the type of hair and to the individual. Furthermore, each type of hair has a length at which it will stop growing. Over a few years' time, all of the hair on your body is replaced without you noticing it.
Eyebrow Growth Rate
-
Your eyebrows will grow back at a rate that's relative to how you removed the hair. If you plucked or waxed your brows, it can take up to 64 days for them to grow in completely. If your eyebrows were waxed, they'll begin growing back in three to four weeks. Shaved eyebrows take just a couple of days before the hair will begin to grow back. If you've lost eyebrow hair due to an illness or medication, it may take a bit longer for the hair to regrow. If you're on medication, the hair will most likely start to regrow once the medicine is out of your system.

Eyelash Length
-
Eyelashes stop growing at a certain length, as determined by your genetics. While some people may have longer lashes than others, you most likely won't find somebody with abnormally long lashes.
Eyelash Growth Cycle
-
When an eyelash falls out or is plucked out, it will eventually grow back. The typical eyelash growth cycle is about four to eight weeks to fully regrow an eyelash.
Eyebrow and Eyelash Growth Stimulation
-
Medicines and lotions that claim to promote eyebrow growth don't often deliver. Also, while there are eyelash products for sale, most do not work as they claim to. While the FDA-approved prescription Latisse does actually help grow thicker, longer lashes, the product has negative side effects. Users complain of red, itchy skin and discoloration of the eyelid. A rare but possibly irreversible side effect is change in eye color. Latisse can also cause hair growth in undesirable areas like the cheek, if the product accidentally touches the skin. Be forewarned that there are counterfeit generic "Latisse" products which can still cause the unintended side effects. It's necessary to wait out your personal hair growth cycle to regrow eyebrows and eyelashes. Diet, age and weather conditions can also slightly affect how quickly your hair will grow.
Warnings
-
Be careful when applying false eyelashes, as they can pull out clumps of your own lashes. Remove false eyelashes carefully and follow the manufacturer's directions.
