Worm Parasites That Cause Joint Pain

If you have parasites in your body you may experience joint pain. Parasites travel to the soft tissue in your body, and that includes your muscles and joints. Inflammation occurs because of the presence of the parasites as well as cysts. A person may be misdiagnosed as having arthritis when in fact the pain he is experiencing is caused by the parasite toxins that gather in the muscle tissue and joints.

  1. Arthralgia

    • Along with joint and muscle pain, you may experience numbness of your hands and feet; muscle cramps; a fast heartbeat; pain in your back, shoulders, thighs and naval as well as pain in your heart. When you are suffering from joint pain, this is referred to as arthralgia.

    Effects

    • Parasites can make you sick because they deprive your body of nutrients as well as produce excrement, which is toxic waste. This waste harms the central nervous system. Parasite urine is actually pure ammonia, which isn’t a good substance to have in ones body, explains Humaworm.com.

    Location

    • Thirty percent of parasites live in the digestive system. The remaining 70 percent are in the blood and body organs, which includes the eyes and the brain and sinus cavities.

    Numbers

    • There are more than 1,000 kinds of parasites that live in the human body. Most of the parasites can’t be seen with the human eye; however 30 percent of them are visible.

    Types

    • The parasite that is most common in the United States is trichomonas. There are approximately 7.4 million reported cases of this parasitic infection each year. Cryptosporidium causes 300,000 infections in the U.S. each year and is generally water-related (from swimming, water skiing, etc.) Giardia results in 2 million parasitic infections in the U.S. annually. There are anywhere from 400 to 4,000 thousands cases of toxoplasma infections in the U.S. each year, many of which result in ocular involvement. This parasitic infection is the third-leading cause of death that results from food-borne illnesses.
