Liability claims representatives work for insurance companies and act as the company's representative when a policy holder files a liability claim. Most often, the position involves investigating and reviewing automobile accidents; however, individuals and companies possess many types of insurance, and a liability claims representative could work on any claim in any context. For example, a bar owner with business insurance may submit a liability claim after getting sued by someone who was injured in the bar. A liability claims representative would investigate and assess the claim after the business owner submitted a claim.
