Real Vs. Fake Coach Bags
Coach handbags are a well-known brand in the fashion community. Made of top-quality leather, Coach bags are highly sought despite their prices. But there are several fakes on the market and if you don't know the difference, you could be the victim of a counterfeit purchase. Does this Spark an idea?

The C's on an authentic Coach bag will line up correctly and match at the seams. The C's on one side of the seam will exactly mirror the C's on the other side. Fake Coach bags sometimes contain a "C" pattern that is actually the letter "G." Also, the pattern will be unmatched and the seams won't line up correctly. The C's of a real Coach bag always begin at the middle seam and move outward.
Dustbag

A Coach handbag should come in a dustbag. The authentic Coach purse dustbag is chocolate brown with a red drawstring. It is also inscribed with the words "Coach Est. 1941" in white capital letters at the bottom right of the bag. Fake Coach handbags may come in a dustbag that is white or beige and made of flimsy material.

Zipper

The zipper pull of a real Coach handbag will be stamped with "YKK," the highest quality of zippers available. Fake Coach handbags will not have this stamp on the zippers.
Stitching

The stitching on a real Coach handbag should be near perfect with no loose threads. Fake Coach bags often have crooked and low-quality stitching.
Serial Number

Most, but not all, Coach handbags come with a serial number that on the leather tag on the inside of the bag. The writing is always in capital letters and the last four numbers of the serial are the specific style number of the bag. Fake Coach bags will never have a serial number.
