Turkey Hunting Season in Alabama
The reintroduction of sufficient numbers of wild turkeys to allow hunting seasons has been very successful. With the cooperation of many state agencies and the National Wild Turkey Federation, hunters across the country now have an opportunity to try their skills against the bird. Alabama is one of the states with highly successful turkey seasons, with over 80,000 wild birds providing weeks of enjoyment for hunters of all ages.
