New Brunswick has beautiful scenery.

The scenery in New Brunswick is one of the most spectacular in the world. With wonderful views of the ocean and the nearby Appalachian Mountains, New Brunswick is the gateway to Atlantic Canada. RV camping through New Brunswick is a dream vacation and one filled with the excitement of viewing wildlife and the rugged scenery of the Appalachian Trail that runs right along the coast of New Brunswick.

  1. Grasslands National Parks of Canada

    • You can do what's called front-country camping here. Front-country camping means you'll have access to outdoor areas that you can easily get to in your RV, but also are good for pop-ups and tents. If you do front-country camping you should expect more crowded locations and a wider range of visitors than in the backcountry.

    Grasslands National Park

    • Visit "Belza Place" in the West Block backcountry of the Grasslands. There is an abandoned ranch that provides a tranquil and isolated area for camping, and it's a good place to park your RV and stay a while. You'll have picnic tables and easy road access in this wilderness setting.

When you get to Grasslands National Park, be sure to stop in and register at the Visitor Center in Val Marie. You can get camping permits, information on hiking routes, camping locations and all the current park information to make your stay perfect.

    St. Martins, New Brunswick

    • St. Martins, New Brunswick, is a beautiful place to camp. You can rent a trailer or bring your own and take advantage of its large campsites with picnic tables and fire rings.

While you're there, walk along the beach, pick up shells and enjoy the fresh ocean air; back at the campground enjoy a cook out or movie night.

Camper storage is available, pets on a leash are allowed, but excessive noise isn't. St. Martins also has trailers, fully equipped, for short-term rental.

    River Run Campground

    • River Run Campground on the Canaan River has a variety of healthy outdoor activities in a scenic setting. There are 61 full-service campsites with electrical outlets, drinking water and bathroom facilities. You can tent camp, take your RV or rent a cabin.

For fun and excitement, you can rent a canoe or kayak and explore the Canaan River, go hiking or try your hand at fishing. If you want to connect with the outside world, bring your laptop and take advantage of its free Wi-Fi.

    Kiwanis Ocean Front Camping

    • St. Andrews in New Brunswick is on the ocean, and you can camp here on one of its 133 sites, some with water and electricity. Also available are laundry facilities, limited groceries, RV supplies, fire rings and picnic tables.

While you're there, take advantage of saltwater fishing, canoeing, hiking, biking and various planned activities at this fun family camping destination.
