Education

  • A junior network administrator should have a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or mathematics. Certifications

Responsibilities and Duties

When there is a problem in the system, a junior network administrator is expected to troubleshoot and provide timely solutions. A junior network administrator is supervised by a senior administrator to ensure that established network systems are consistently improved.

He should be able to communicate effectively with other team members. He should be result oriented and committed to his work. He should have a thorough understanding of computer systems. The junior network administrator should be flexible and understand what is involved in the administration and maintenance of network connectivity. Junior network administrators should be innovative and creative.
