Hunters are also required to bring a large cooler for their animals, preferably 64 quarts or larger.

Another option for those looking for a quality wild hog hunting trip is the Double Boar Ranch in Shippenville. The ranch provides quality hunts for European wild boar. All animals are bought as shoats and are then raised in the growing facility to reach the desired size for hunting.
The hunts include one night's lodging and three meals. The hunts include field dressing, and taxidermy or meat processing services are available for an additional fee. The rustic log cabin lodge includes six bedrooms, a large stone fireplace, a large deck and all the comforts of home. Guests can also enjoy practicing at the skeet shooting range.

The facility offers 140 acres of hardwood and pine forests with several hollows and steep slopes. Hunters can choose from muzzleloader, rifle and bow hunts, and a guide is provided. All hunters must wear hunter orange except for archery hunters, and portable tree stands are also allowed.
