Klaussner is an American furniture company with corporate headquarters in Asheboro, North Carolina. The company offers consumers a choice of fabrics for its furniture line. With more than 600 fabric choices, customers have "custom order capabilities," according to the Klaussner website. Customers can use the online drapery tool to create a variety of looks for their furniture.
Klaussner home furnishings has a network of facilities to house its product lines, to provide quick deliveries. Once you place a custom order you can expect to receive your items within two to four weeks. The company's motto states that the customer will have "what they want, how they want it, and when they want it." You may choose one selection of fabric for your furniture or a combination of fabrics and still receive quick delivery.
Go to the Klaussner website. Choose the furniture you wish to customize. Click on the item. Click the right side of the screen to choose your fabric. Choose the area of the furniture you wish to cover. Click the area then click the fabric. The drapery tool allows you to see the furniture with your selections. Email your completed design or print the design and mail it to the nearest Klaussner store.
Klaussner offers fabric options from leather to tapestry. There are 75 leather options, such as Aniline leather--a distressed finish option--and Nubuck leather, which is similar to suede with a soft nap. Denim cloths are available as well as twills and vinyl. Jacquards have elaborate patterns. Tapestries show a design in the pattern, which may include scenes. Stripes and plaids offer a casual look. Overprints include detailed floral patterns and prints that appear solid. Chenille consists of protruding piles of soft and durable fabric. Microfibers are synthetic and durable.
Klaussner offers colors in a variety of shades and tints. Denims include white, natural and dark shades such as indigo. Leather includes black, cognac and coffee. Chenille varies from taupe to deep walnut. Contemporary stripes include bold colors as well as neutrals. Cotton includes soft whites and deep colors such as raspberry. Microfibers range from buckwheat to cornflower to purple. Tapestries include soft prints, stripes and contemporary pattern--ranging from champagne to dark colors such as naval blue. Velvets include light oatmeal and deep red. Vinyl has a deep color, such as cognac, walnut or black.
Fabric options include specific fabric care. Most fabrics may be spot cleaned with a water-free cleaning solvent. Upholstery shampoo is fine, but do not saturate the fabric. Klaussner recommends professional cleaning for heavily soiled fabric. Daily cleaning includes brushing with a non-metallic brush or vacuuming. For leather, dust with a soft cloth. The company strongly recommends that you pretest the fabric for color loss and avoid water for cleaning. The furniture includes a cleaning code for each fabric, which is located underneath the item. The codes are located on the company's website.
