Las Vegas has something to entertain everyone.

Located at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, The Mirage Hotel and Casino is ideally located to take advantage of all that this vibrant city has to offer. It was built by famed Vegas entrepreneur Steve Wynn in 1989 on the grounds of the former Castaways resort for $630 million. The AAA Four Diamond Award-winning resort, now owned by MGM Resorts International, offers guests luxurious accommodations and a wealth of entertainment and amenities. It was also the first resort in Las Vegas to be built through the sale of junk bonds.

  1. Accommodations

    • Renovation of the 3,044 rooms, suites and villas at the Mirage was completed in August 2008, and features an array of amenities for the guests’ comfort. All the beds are Sealy Posturepedic pillow-tops, and the latest technological features include 42-inch LCD televisions, MP3 player docks, cordless telephones and high-speed Internet access. As of 2010, room rates start from, approximately, $200 per night, but special deals are available frequently throughout the year.

    Dining

    • The hotel’s six restaurants feature global cuisine, including the American grill concept at Stack, contemporary Japanese cuisine at Japonais, fine Italian dining at Onde and Chinese food at Fin. Casual dining amenities offer burgers, pizzas, Southern cooking and ice cream. There is also a deli and cafe. Ten bars and lounges ensure that guests can enjoy food and drinks around the clock. There is also an extensive array of food and drink available on the hotel’s 24-hour room service menu.

    Entertainment

    • Besides the casino’s table games, slot, race and sports book entertainment, the Mirage operates the popular Vegas show, Love, which features world-renowned circus performers Cirque du Soleil in a Beatles music-themed production. The soundtrack to the production, which was worked on by Sir George Martin, the Beatles legendary producer, and his son, Giles Martin, has won two Grammy awards.

    Nightclub

    • In addition to the bars and lounges, the nightclub Jet offers 15,000 square feet of space, which is divided into three separate areas all featuring their own dance floors, DJs and sound systems that play different genres of dance music. State-of-the-art cryogenics and lasers are used to enhance the club's futuristic vibe.

    Spa and Salon

    • The Mirage Spa and Kim Vo Salon feature therapeutic massages and treatments, steam rooms, saunas, whirlpools, fitness facilities, hair styling, cosmetology and retail opportunities. Beverly Hills celebrity salon stylist, Kim Vo, operates the salon facilities. There is also an extensive pool area for guests to enjoy.

    Siegfried and Roy

    • The Mirage was home to legendary Las Vegas showmen, Siegfried and Roy, who captivated audiences at the Mirage for 13 years with shows featuring illusions, magic and wild animals, including cheetahs and white tigers. Following an on-stage incident in 2003 in which a white tiger attacked Roy, and seriously injured him, the Siegfried and Roy Show closed.
