Corolle is an international doll franchise based in the Loire Valley of France. The company began in 1979, and since then it has received over 30 design and quality awards. Corolle designs their dolls to be as realistic as possible. Their skin is soft and human-like, and many of their dolls are based on real children.

Features

Depending on the doll, Corolle dolls will come with interactive features. For example, many dolls can cry and laugh; some even speak multiple languages like Italian, French and Spanish. Corolle dolls are tailored to stages of a child's development.

Corolle dolls come in five categories. There is Babi Corolle for infants, Mon Premier for 18 months and older, Les Classiques for ages 2 years and older, and Miss Corolle and Les Trendies for ages 3 and up. Dolls for infants are machine washable and designed to stimulate the developing child's senses. Mon Premier dolls come with beanbag bodies for easy, comfortable toddler play. Les Classiques come in four different sizes with or without features, making them a great doll for almost any age. The Miss Corolle dolls are designed for imaginative play (i.e. little girls playing house), and Les Trendies come with bright hair colors and clothing that will, according to Corolle, "delight budding fashionistas."

Safety

Accessories

Many of the Corolle dolls come with accessories. The baby doll Lia, for example, from the "Les Classiques" line, comes with a bib and a bottle, along with a training potty.
