Innovative Advertising Solutions
Today's consumers are flooded with advertising from every direction. In order to set yourself apart and stand out from the noise, you must use creative advertising ideas that make them take notice. If you use innovative advertising that cannot be ignored, you will accomplish your goal.

E-mail Marketing
-
For many people, the majority of their daily activities take place online. For this reason, the Internet is a great place to target them. Most employees who are sitting behind a desk all day will welcome an interesting e-mail, especially if it provides them with something valuable. An e-mail template that coordinates with the rest of your campaign, focuses on one value statement, contains a call-to-action, and has a strong subject line is a very effective marketing method.
Social Media
-
As stated above, many people spend hours online on various social networks throughout the day. So why not utilize these sites to reach your customer base in a fun, innovative format. Use Twitter and Facebook to share links to information about your company, or to pass along a special "Just For Our Followers" promotion code. Use videos to share extra information about your product or service in a creative way that will get your customers' attention.

Clothing
-
Everyone loves free clothing. A creative advertising idea is to print t-shirts, flip-flops, and hats with your logo, tagline, and company website. When clothing is given to your existing customers, or prospective customers at tradeshows and events, it is most likely that these people will wear you clothing. And whether customers are wearing the shirts while working in their garden or coaching their children's soccer games, they are still providing you with free advertising.
Guerilla Marketing
-
If executed correctly, Guerilla marketing can be a very effective advertising solution. Guerilla marketing is the process of placing advertising campaigns in unexpected places, so that consumers see it randomly throughout their day. For instance, by placing an oversized coffee pot on the top of a streetlight, and an oversized coffee cup around the bottom of the pole, it looked as if a cup of steaming coffee was pouring into the cup. Not only was this an eye catching ad, it also probably sparked a few cravings for McDonald's coffee as well.
Billboards
-
Billboards can be a very innovative advertising solution...if a creative idea is used. However, they can be a complete waste if they blend in into the background. Original billboard ideas involve using the location or scenery to make their point. For instance, Bic's ad campain featured a billboard in the middle of a field of tall grass. The field was then mowed in a strip leading to the billboard. At the end of the strip, an oversized razor was leaning against the white billboard. Because of its original use of surrounding factors, Bic was able to send a clear message using nothing but their prop and a logo.
