PMP Exam
-
The test consists of 200 multiple-choice questions and is taken on a computer. Of the 200 questions, only 175 are scored. The remaining 25, scattered throughout the test, are pre-test questions used to determine the content of future examinations. The exam has a time limit of four hours.
Exam questions are developed by focus groups of certified PMP individuals and are derived from project management and risk management educational materials. The questions cover a broad range of project management expertise and theory in all areas of practice.
PMP Certification
-
Earning a PMP certification is difficult, time consuming and expensive, but well worth it. In today's competitive job market, certified professionals are in high demand. While no certification or education can guarantee a job, earning a PMP certification shows potential employers that you have the knowledge and career dedication to meet the challenges of a demanding project management career.
