SkyWest offers travelers more than 1,500 arrival and departure times every day.

SkyWest Airlines was formed in 1972 to accommodate business executives who traveled between Salt Lake City and St. George, Utah. Today, the airline serves as a partner to a variety of American airlines, working as one of their connection carriers. Delta Connection, United Express and AirTran Airlines all utilize SkyWest's services that offer travelers more than 1,500 arrival and departure times per day.

  1. Internet Arrival Information

    • SkyWest operates across 149 cities in over 35 states and provides their travelers with up-to-date arrival information. In order to find current arrival information, you can select the city that your airport is located in and access all relevant information from their Internet website (see Resources). The website will inform you of any FAA delays, a delay index and the current time in the city of interest.

    Airport Delays

    • Due to the many flights that travel across the United States some airports can experience delays for arrivals. SkyWest strives to keep passengers updated on flight progress and airport delays. By completing the "Airport Delay" form on the Flight Stats website, travelers can find relevant airport delays at all cities around the United States (see Resources).

    SkyWest's Flight Tracking Service

    • As an added convenience to receive up-to-date arrival information, SkyWest allows customers to track their flights via Google Maps from real time (see Resources). This Internet function allows customers to read current arrival statuses that include runway and gate times. The airport's flight tracking service also links any delays to the affected flight's time.

    Contacting Customer Service

    • Contacting SkyWest's customer service department will also allow you to find current arrival information for their various flights (see References). Gate times, arrival times and airport delays can change quickly and their customer service staff are able to relay this information via the telephone.

    SkyWest's Arrival Policy

    • SkyWest works hard to make sure that their passengers' arrival schedule is carried out in a smooth and efficient manner. The airline works closely with all airport personnel that include flight crews and local station operations. SkyWest's policy states that customers will not wait more than 90 minutes for any ground delays upon arrival.
