Accredited Mediator Training
Professional organizations are the most common credentialing authorities that certify training courses for mediators. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, "there are no national credentials or licensure requirements" for mediators (Reference 1)." There are, however, mediation certification programs offered at the state level and through independent organizations. Most programs offer different levels of certifications based on the students desired field of mediation.
