Ingleside, Texas RV Camping
Ingleside is on the southeast tip of San Patricio County, Texas. The area is located with 20 minutes of Corpus Christi, where many attractions and activities by the water are available. Campers can choose from many RV campgrounds in the area and enjoy attractions like Cove Park, Corpus Christi Beach, Art Museum of South Texas, Harbor Playhouse and Centennial House.

Ingleside is situated right on the Corpus Christi Bay in an area known as the Coastal Bend. Ingleside is also less than 20 minutes from Rockport and Port Aransas. Many attractions are in the area including Whitney Lake, where you can enjoy sightings of wildlife such as wading birds, shorebirds and waterfowl. Recreational parks in Ingleside include Cove Park, N.O. Simmons Park, Faith Park, Live Oak Park and Oak Park.

You can choose to stay in many campgrounds in the area such as Ransom Road RV Park in Aransas Pass and Sea Breeze RV Park in Portland. Both are less than 30 minutes away from Ingleside and are situated right by the water where you can enjoy scenic views of the Gulf Coast and easy access to public boat launches and fishing areas.

Amenities vary depending on the RV campground that you choose. Ransom Road RV Park has 128 sites with pull-thru accommodations. All sites have a picnic table and full hook-ups with 20/30/50-amp connection. Other amenities include cable TV, wireless Internet access, recreation room, restrooms and laundry facilities. If you prefer campgrounds that are close to the water, inquire about nearby facilities that are available such as a boat launch ramp and a beach area.

You can enjoy various outdoor activities in the Ingleside area such as fishing, boating, golf, birding, tennis and biking. You can take a self-guided tour at the Texas State Aquarium, learn about the historical Fulton Mansion that was built in the 1870s or go swimming and sunbathing at the Mustang Island State Park.

RV campsite rates vary and depend on factors such as your length of stay and type of site (pull-through or back-in), and some campgrounds have different rates for weekdays and weekends. A daily rate may cost about $30 and up and a weekly rate may cost $145 and up while monthly rates are about $255 and above. Prices are based on 2010 rates.
