Inside Scoop

Inside Scoop is an old fashioned ice cream shop in the town of Overton, one of the closest areas off the Golden Butte drive. Visitors driving through the area should stop in Overton for some refreshment, and Inside Scoop offers a dozen flavors, cones and cups. Prices start at about $2.

Echo Bay Resort and Marina

Echo Bay Resort and Marina is located near the Echo Bay Airport, and is about 13 miles west of the Gold Butte drive. Guests can rent boats here to take out onto nearby Lake Meade, and is just a short drive to Las Vegas, which can also be accessed by driving through Gold Butte.

Canyon's End Motel

Canyon's End Motel is located 23 miles south of Gold Butte, and is also a quick drive to the Grand Canyon. Rooms cost around $50, and is close to a number of local restaurants, including Ken's Pizza next door. There are spaces for guests to park boats for those wishing to visit Lake Mead.
