Mucle mass does not just happen, it has to be worked.

Nonstop instinct training is a method of exercise training that is designed to assist in the building and defining of muscle mass. Using this method of exercise, coupled with proper diet and nutrition, one can expect to experience a loss of fat and an increase of muscle mass. This method is referred to as Instinct training because it focuses on how the body feels and learning how to respond to the body's needs.

  1. Development

    • The nonstop instinct training style was developed by Joe Weider, the unofficial father of weight lifting. This was developed to go along with his other 23 principles of weight lifting. These include other aspects of weight lifting such as eclenctic training, cycle training and muscle confusion. These techniques were developed as Joe Weider started to weight train for his own muscle mass and they were perfected as he began to teach other people how to build muscle mass. This is one of the methods of weight training that Arnold Schwarzenegger uses for his abdominal muscles.

    Techique

    • Nonstop instinct training is all about listening to your body. If you feel that your muscles have not fully recovered from an exercise, working out a different body part and resting the tired muscle is a major part of instinct training. The nonstop part of training means that you do not stop training because muscles are tired but rather you change the exercise to allow those muscles to rest. This is especially good for abdominal muscles that are often worked out every day as opposed to arm or leg muscles that under go heavy exercise a couple times a week.

    Beneficial

    • Those who see the best results and the most benefits from nonstop instinct training are those who frequently work out at heavier weights. Professional and amateur body builders often use this technique because it can tell them if a muscle is damaged and how best to work around the muscle. These people only use exercise if it feels right for them, and they skip it if it does not feel right. People who are new to the workout circuit may misinterpret muscle soreness as muscle fatigue and not work out the muscles or may press a muscle that they think is just sore but is really injured. These people should simply avoid working out when they are extremely sore instead of trying to work around the sore muscles.

    Only for the Trained

    • Nonstop instinct training is used primarily by body builders, although athletes can also use this method of training very effectively. This method of training can also help to lower a person's fat content of a person and increase muscle tone. Many personal trainers use this method to keep themselves in proper shape and may teach this to their clients. Do not attempt this method without being trained on the proper usage. This method is not for the casual lifter.

    Safety Concerns

    • It is important that you only start an exercise program after discussing it with a certified medical professional. It is also very important to maintain a healthy diet and avoid steroids. An improper diet will not be able to support heavy muscle mass and health. A proper diet will allow the muscles to grow properly and will maintain proper body functions. A healthy diet is high in protein and complex carbohydrates and low in fat and simple sugars. Steroids will decrease the cardio functions and testosterone hormones being produced by the body.
