    • The MCSD certification applies to people working with Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0 and .NET Framework 1.1 with the aim of creating programs for business use. This is not a certification for those working with Visual Studio technologies or .NET Framework 2.0 or 3.5.

    Previous Experience

    • If you have been in a leadership role for at least two years as a software engineer, software development engineer, software architect or consultant, you are qualified for the certification. This means you need to have already been developing business solution technologies.

    Reasons to Get Certified

    • A certification credential is something to add to your resume, and can help you get noticed by future employers. You can also gain skills as you prepare for your exams. Also, after you pass your certification, you will have access to Microsoft tools that are only for Microsoft Certified Professionals.
