Auto Club Insurance provides automobile insurance for members of the American Automobile Association, or widely referred to today as AAA and pronounced Triple A. Members of AAA receive privileges such as specialty discounts, roadside assistance, and traveling rewards and support. Auto Club insurance services customers in different regions throughout the United States.
Regions of Auto Club Insurance
Auto Club Insurance provides insurance for customers in well over 60 different regions of the United States. This includes Auto Club South, New Jersey Automobile Club, AAA New York, Ohio Auto Club, Automobile Club of Southern California, AAA Mid-Atlantic, AAA Northern New England, AAA Mountain West and AAA Texas, among many others.
Auto Club Liability
Auto Club insurance entails the required minimum coverage for liability insurance; it varies, depending on the state in which the customer resides. Liability insurance protects the insured up to the specified amount on the insurance policy if they are the party who initiated an accident. Certain states have a lesser legal minimum than other states.
Auto Club Comprehensive and Collision
Auto Club insurance provides the option of comprehensive damage coverage with or without a deductible. Comprehensive damage, or other than collision, is damage from fire, theft, vandalism, natural disasters or minor damage such as a cracked windshield.
Auto Club also provides coverage for collision damage with varying deductibles. Collision coverage refers to physical damages sustained in an automobile accident. It includes the vehicle's actual cash value minus the deductible.
Uninsured and Underinsured Motorists
Auto Club insurance includes the option of uninsured and underinsured motorist coverages. Uninsured motorist coverage provides coverage for an insured motorist in the case that he is the victim of an accident with a driver who does not have automobile insurance.
Underinsured motorist coverage provides insurance coverage for the insured in the case that he is the victim of an accident with a driver who does not have enough insurance to cover the physical damage and liability costs.
Auto Club Additional Endorsements
Auto Club insurance provides endorsements that accompany the legal coverage to a policy. These supplemental endorsements include medical payment coverage, which covers medical bills to a specified amount on the policy. Optional endorsements include rental car coverage, as well as additional and custom electronics.
