What Is a Master Psychic?
There are thousands of psychics in the world seeking clients using whatever ways they can to convince a person that they have a legitimate gift. One of the most common terms used is Master Psychic. The title of Master Psychic denotes professionalism but there are a variety of factors which differentiate them from all the other psychics in the world.

History
-
The popularity of psychics and psychic phenomenon has been around for centuries, but in the United States it reached its apex with the spiritualism movement in the late 1800 through early 1930s. It wasn't until the late 80's and early 90's that psychics became popular again through the use of infomercials and pay-per-minute phone readings. Since then, psychics have become more prevalent in society and many have adopted the Master Psychic moniker.
Function
-
The function of a Master Psychic is to provide a service in whatever form of psychic phenomenon they have "mastered." This could mean anything from past life regressions, connecting with dead relatives, precognition and the traditional "reading" of your past, present and future. As with any psychic, they cannot guarantee accuracy, but a Master Psychic usually has an established track record.

Phonies
-
Many psychics with little or no experience, or even ability, may adopt the Master Psychic title as a way to bilk their clients. These con artists will promise the moon, but deliver little except for cold and ambiguous readings. These psychics are usually not around for very long, ask frequently for money and will move frequently once their reputation as a charlatan becomes known.
Non-certified Master Psychics
-
Psychics that have been around for several years and have an established clientele and have a high accuracy percentage for their readings may adopt the title of Master Psychic. This is more their own personal recognition of their own abilities rather than a title given or earned through testing. These psychics tend to be well known at least in their own region.
Certified Master Psychics
-
Some psychics can become certified Master Psychics through testing at various spiritual and psychic organizations such as the Tarot Certification Board of America and earn a certificate that allows them to be called a Master Psychic. These psychics must be established, have a high accuracy percentage and other challenges set forth by the certifying agency.
