Buy a garment bag before you travel, and keep your dress in the bag. Carry the bag on the plane with you, if possible, and ask a flight attendant if he can hang it in an appropriate closet. Ask politely before you board the plane, and tell them it is for a wedding. As long as there is room in the cabin's closet, there should be no problem.
