Sony LCD TV Problems
LCD televisions are thin televisions that are quickly becoming commonplace in the homes of millions of people. Available in both standard definition as well as high-definition models, Sony has created a fairly extensive line of LCD televisions ranging from inexpensive entry-level models to higher-end high-definition models. Sparkles In Picture

The picture on your television is only as good as the cable its receiving that picture with. If you see sparkles in your picture, or the picture is breaking up on your Sony LCD, it may mean the HDMI cable you are using to receive your signal is bad, or connected poorly. Try unplugging and plugging the cable back in to see if that corrects the issue.
Fuzzy Picture

Sony LCD televisions are easily influenced by other electrical devices that might be near the television. If you use a number of high-powered electronic devices near your LCD television (for instance a microwave) the picture on your set may become fuzzy while that electronic device is in operation.

Video Noise

When viewing low-quality video signals Sony LCD televisions will sometimes display video noise, or wavy lines on the picture, making it difficult to see. If you have an issue with video noise go into the menu of your LCD televisions, select "Picture Quality" and the "Sharpness." Lower the sharpness of the picture to help reduce the noise and make your picture more viewable.
Audio/Video Out of Sync

Occasionally the audio and video on a Sony LCD television will become out of sync, making it difficult to keep up with programs. In order to fix the issue you will need to restore your television to the factory settings. You can do that by holding down the up arrow button on your remote control and then pressing the power button. Your television will then turn off and then back on, resetting it.
Bravia

Sony LCD televisions made after 2006 are all equipped to work with Bravia Sync, a feature that allows the television to communicate and share information with other Sony devices. If you are having trouble making a connection, make sure all of your products are connected via an HDMI connection and that the "HDMI Control" setting in each device is powered on.
