Villanova University

Made available through University Alliance, Villanova offers Lean Six Sigma online training for an Advanced Certificate for Lean Six Sigma, general Lean Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. There are no pre-requisites for this online training designed for the manufacturing and service industries.

Purdue University

Lean Six Sigma online training available from Purdue is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. The online course is a 10-week course; once completed it is applied to the health care, banking, military and engineering industries as well as others. Other proposed courses include Advanced Lean Principles and Tools and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. The tools and theories mastered in these programs enable graduates to help companies reduce waste and enhance the customer experience.

Kaplan Continuing Education

The Lean Six Sigma Certificate offered by Kaplan is for business and finance certificates. Each student completes an improvement project by the end of the course, and the project can cover all types of processes from any organization. The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) accredits Kaplan University, which is also a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Students can study and learn at their own pace.

Best Practice Research

BPR Associates is a distance-learning organization focusing on best practice education for the manufacturing and service industries. The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is the Lean Six Sigma online training course for certification and includes over 25 modules using the DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyza-Improve-Control) and PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) basics. Students complete one full project, and one-on-one questions are handled by a Master Black Belt. Students have online access for one full year.

MoreSteam University

All courses are approved and reviewed by American Society for Quality (ASQ), and MoreSteam University partners with Notre Dame, Accenture and Ohio State University. According to MoreSteam University they have trained over 200,000 Lean Six Sigma professionals. The online training includes quizzes, simulations and exercises.
