Nutritional Information For Imitation Vanilla Extract

Imitation vanilla extract is made with synthetic vanilla, which is created from the glycoside in the sapwood of conifers or from coal extracts. While it is similar in taste and aroma to pure vanilla extract, imitation vanilla extract leaves a bitter aftertaste and doesn't have quite the same spicy kick. Since vanilla is considered a spice, imitation vanilla extract has about the same nutritional content as other spices. Does this Spark an idea?
