Curam is a medication made up of a combination of amoxycillin and potassium elavulanate used in the treatment of infections in the body caused by bacteria. The medication works by killing and suppressing the growth of bacteria that leads to these infections. As is the case with most medications, there are a number of side effects that have been associated with use.
Common Side Effects
Some common side effects include vomiting, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, back pain, tiredness, insomnia, itching, rash, indigestion, abdominal pain and hot flashes. While these are considered the most common side effects associated with using this drug, they only affect a small number of users.
Severe Side Effects
Unfortunately, there are also a number of severe side effects associated with using Curam. Some of these side effects include bloody diarrhea, severe chills, fever, sore throat, seizures, unusual bleeding and bruising, shortness of breath, yellowing of the skin and mouth and severe blisters. These side effects are extremely rare and do not affect a large number of users.
