Contact your state department of vocational rehabilitation and speak to a counselor about your employment goals. Not only can you continue receiving Social Security benefits while in college, but you may be able to get grants and other support from the state.

My son will be going to college in the fall but is worried about how he"ll get by while doing so...i'm unemployed and jobs are getting harder everyday to find if your an adult, let alone a teenager. Survivor Benefits should be extended to students attending college.

my dad died and my lil brother needs that money from his social security and hes going to college right after high school.....were a poor family and I think they should of never changed the law my brother needs it and he works hard in school and is a great kid......im very pissed off about this.
