Scleredema starts out on the face, which can cause the sufferer to be embarrassed at the condition, and can quickly spread to the neck, back and arms. Treatment usually involves steroidal creams.

Steroid medications can help the condition rapidly.

Xeroderma Pigmentosum is known to cause an extreme sensitivity to sunlight, an can produce strong reactions in the skin, as if had been exposed to an enormous amount of sun. Although there are no widely used treatments for Xeroderma Pigmentosum, a protein-based cream is being tested.
Hidradenitis Suppurativa
-
Hidradenitis Suppurativa causes the skin to produce boils and large nodules inside the folds of the skin, such as around in the elbows, knees and groin area. Once the disease progresses, the boils will begin to connect together to form "tunnels." This can be a rare and painful skin disease that has no treatment, other than pain medications, and no known cure.
