What Is Mona Vie Used For?

Mona Vie is a dietary supplement in the form of a fruit juice has not yet been tested by the FDA. There are various uses for Mona Vie depending upon the type of juice that you drink. Currently there are four types of juice blends, each one providing different nutritional benefits. Mona Vie makes no medical claims except for the nutritional value contained within. Each blend contains enough nutrients to supply you with 13 servings per day of fruits and vegetables in the company recommended 4-oz. dosage.

  1. Mona Vie Original

    • The Mona Vie Original blend offers antioxidant protection against free radicals. According to Mona Vie, the acai berry is the main ingredient in this and the other blends of the juice. The original blend is considered safe for consumption for people of all ages.

    Mona Vie Active

    • If you are an athlete or even a weekend athlete then Mona Vie Active is said to be the juice you should be drinking. This blend offers the same benefits as Mona Vie Original but offers additional benefits of plant-derived glucosamine. People who drink Mona Vie Active regularly report a decrease in joint pain and better performance. This blend will also provide you with the antioxidants. The company suggests that if you are pregnant or a child under the age of 12 that you not consume Mona Vie Active because the glucosamine hydrochloride and esterified fatty acids contained have not been tested in these people.

    Mona Vie Pulse

    • If you are concerned about heart health and your cholesterol level then Mona Vie recommends their Pulse blend. This blend is specifically made to maintain existing healthy cholesterol levels. Plant sterols, resveratrol and omega fatty acids are formulated in this blend to help promote good heart health. Plant sterols have been tested clinically by the George Institute and have been proven to improve cholesterol levels.

    Mona Vie Kosher

    • Mona Vie Kosher provides the same benefits as the Original. The kosher requirements dictated that Mona Vie alter some of the Original's ingredients in order for the juice to become "Kosher Certified."

    Considerations

    • There are no preservatives, artificial flavors, artificial colors, sweeteners or added sugar in Mona Vie products. Mona Vie is used for overall good health. The acai berry is the main ingredient in the juice but the company makes no promises of weight loss. According to Brig Hart, Mona Vie also holds the patent for the flash freeze drying processing of the acai berry. This natural process traps the nutrients in the berry so that nutritional value is not lost. This supplement is manufactured in a Good Manufacturing Practices facility.
