Natural Health, Holistic & Alternative Medicine Schools
The field of natural health--including holistic and alternative, or non-Western, approaches to medicine--contains an enormous range of specialties. Laws for practicing doctors in each specialty, from herbal medicine to massage therapy, vary from state to state. The Council on Naturopathic Medical Education serves as the accrediting agency for naturopathic medical education for four-year colleges and programs in the U.S. and Canada.
