The fun part about building your kitty condo is that you can modify it as you see fit. Low on cash? Try building using scrap lumber or even small logs with the bark still attached for the posts. You can usually find free or very low cost carpet remnants in the want ads or from carpet stores. Adding cat toys on strings or rope adds to your kitty's excitement. Once you're done, be sure to sprinkle catnip over the tree and condo. Your cat will love you for it.
