NordicTrack launched themselves with their Classic Pro Skier. Today they offer several other exercise equipment options, branching into elliptical first, then treadmills. Apparel is sold on their website as well. NordicTrack continues their success by designing new technologies to enhance their products. Original Skier

NordicTrack debuted with their skier twenty years ago, in 1989. The original skier promised a full body workout with different levels of resistance. The skier did just that--it was a machine that mimicked the movement of skiing. You place your feet on two ski-like boards and push yourself back and forth. NordicTrack stipulates that their skier is "still the best total-body, calorie-burning workout available."
Ellipticals

NordicTrack currently offers ten different ellipticals. Their prices range from $700 to $2,000. Like the treadmills, NordicTrack has different series of ellipticals that have different advantages. The SpaceSaver series allows for easy storage of your elliptical. The Commercial series is meant for gyms and the FreeMotion Commercial series takes that gym experience to the next level. The ellipticals vary in resistance, stride, incline, control panels and upper-body options.

Treadmills

NordicTrack currently offers twelve treadmills, from $700 to $5,000, in the A series, Elite, T, Reflex and Incline series, and the FreeMotion Commercial series. Each series offers a different advantage. The Elite series is partially designed for marathon training whereas the T Series is designed for commercial use with a weight limit of 300 pounds. The Reflex series offers the NordicTrack's Reflex technology and comes with their iFIT Workout Technology.

NordicTrack has many products beyond their original skier, treadmills, and ellipticals, such as incline trainers, exercise bikes (both upright and recumbent), steppers, strength-training tools and apparel. The strength tools include free weights, benches, the NordicFlex Gold and Fury and an ultimate training kit, and vibration products to enhance your workout experience. NordicTrack apparel includes gear for both outdoor and indoor use. Lastly, NordicTrack offers several accessories such as weight-loss suits, ankle weights, yoga mats, and exercise balls.
Design Innovations

A key feature of NordicTrack products is their unique SpaceSaver design which allows you to fold up your treadmill to open up floor space when necessary. The treadmill also has wheels to increase portability. Another key feature is Reflex technology, which propels you through your workout. Some NordicTrack products also have CoolAire technology, which is essentially two fans that help keep you cool during your workout.
