Coversyl is a brand name for a prescription angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor drug, which is used to treat high blood pressure. This medication blocks an enzyme that the body uses to produce a substance that increases the tightening of blood vessels. Blood vessels can relax, blood flow can increase and blood pressure is reduced with an ACE inhibitor. This drug may cause some side effects, however.
