    The writer of this article is either uninformed or on the payroll of Helping Hands of America. The article states "Helping Hands of America is a charitable organization, so all donations to this charity are 100 percent tax deductible". That is not true, they are a private, "for-profit" business that donates a very small portion of their proceeds to four charities. Even their own web site mentions (in the fine print) that they are a "private corporation".
